Title: Certificate II in Animal Studies
About: Are you passionate about animals? This course will teach you the basic skills and knowledge to assist with a variety of animal care activities such as nutrition, grooming, first aid and exercise of animals. You will be able to work in a diverse range of environments such as pet shops, kennels and shelters.
The course requires each student to arrange and undertake a work placement with the support of their lecturers in order to complete the Certificate. Further information will be provided at the orientation day.
Admission Requirements: IELTS overall score of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0, Equivalent to Australian Year 10 is required for entry into this course.
Duration: 6 months
Study Pathway: Year 10,11 or 12 –> Certificate II in Animal Studies (6 months)

Title: Certificate III in Companion Animal Services
About: Do you want to work effectively in the companion animal industry? This course will teach you how to complete animal care nutrition and hygiene routines, how to maintain and monitor animal health and wellbeing, how to apply animal first aid and how to carry out basic breeding procedures.
The course requires each student to arrange and undertake a work placement with the support of their lecturers in order to complete the Certificate. Further information will be provided at the orientation day.

Title: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
About: Do you want to work in a veterinary environment? This course will enable you to effectively assist vet professionals during surgeries and anaesthetic operations and to perform post-surgery care and advices. You will be able to provide safe and effective care to a wide range of animals by conducting clinical pathologies and imaging procedures.
The course requires each student to arrange and undertake a work placement with the support of their lecturers in order to complete the Certificate. Further information will be provided at the orientation day.
Admission Requirements: IELTS overall score of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0, Equivalent to Australian Year 12 with passes in Maths and Science is required for entry into this course.

Year 12 –> Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (12 months)
